Your bills are beyond overdue. The money you were supposed to receive is late. Friends and family members aren’t able to help you. Health is an issue that keeps coming up in your life. The person that you thought you could depend on ends up being unreliable. It seems like everything you are connected to is either broken or breaking.
You could look at it as if this is the universe’s sinister plan to get you to quit or you could decide that this is an audition for the awesome responsibilities that you are moving into and that God is refining you for a purpose. Either way you’re right. What you believe is your reality. As human beings, we’re naturally dramatic. We tend to see things not as they are but as we are.
If your situation or circumstance isn’t what you’d prefer, think about in a different way. How could you improve in the midst of the chaos and uncertainty in your experience? A good place to start is by appreciating the fact that you are alive and with that comes another opportunity to give your best or whatever you can to each person, day, moment, and opportunity. Is it easy? Nothing really is. After a while, even sitting on the couch and watching TV becomes hard to do so you might as well start doing the hard things that will set you up for desirable results.
Easier said than done, yes. But the things that are worth the effort usually are. Your mind is way more powerful than you realize. What you believe is more important than what you see because everything that is created comes from what is believed. So, create your reality. That starts with evaluating your perspective. Can you see the positive in any situation? Are you willing to decide how you want to feel instead of only allowing external factors to inform your mood? The secret to limiting your bad days and learning from every single experience in your life is up to you. What would you do if you realized that what you’ve received directly relates to what you see?
